Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Startup: Business Bootcamp online workbook and any related websites, content, and services (together, the “Service”), operated by The Biz Foundry (“The Biz Foundry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate and current.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect any unauthorized use, use the Contact Support tool available from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals

• Access to the Service is provided on a paid subscription basis. Pricing and billing frequency are presented at the point of purchase.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• We do not store your full payment card details; those are handled directly by Stripe under its own terms and security standards.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by using the Contact Support tool available from the Account page. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period, after which it will not renew. Payments already made for the current billing period are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

5. License to use the content

Subject to these Terms and your active subscription, The Biz Foundry grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service and its content for your own personal, non-commercial educational use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, resell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the content, in whole or in part, without our prior written permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service and all associated materials—including the curriculum, videos, text, graphics, logos, worksheets, and software—are owned by The Biz Foundry or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The Startup: Business Bootcamp and The Biz Foundry names and logos are marks of The Biz Foundry. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

7. Your content

The Service lets you enter responses, notes, and answers into workbook exercises (“Your Content”). You retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service and providing it back to you. You are responsible for Your Content and represent that you have the right to submit it.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account or login credentials, or allow others to access the Service through your subscription;
• Copy, record, scrape, or redistribute any content from the Service;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or introduce malicious code;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, Stripe for payments, and hosting, database, and video-streaming providers) and may link to third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any results or business outcomes will be achieved.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Biz Foundry and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Biz Foundry from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Putnam County, Tennessee.
